August, September, October Lake Erie Fishing
On Lake Erie in August, September and October is consistently the very best time to fish for yellow perch. The summers of 2001 and 2002 produced some of the best fishing in 10 years. It’s not uncommon for 6 anglers to catch a limit of 30 per person in 3 ½ to 4 hours. Lakeland Charters offers a 6-hour perch trip. Prime time fishing is August 1st – October 15th. August being the most productive.

Perch fishing trips make a great family adventure and memories that will last a life time.

Combo fishing for perch and smallmouth bass during late summer and early fall has been VERY good the past several years on Lake Erie. These years produced several full limit combo days. We would perch fish for 3 hours in the morning, then spend the rest of the day bass fishing. This combo trip is not possible if bass fishing is in Canadian water.
